Floating dry-erase marker Science Experiment

This week's activity is called floating dry-erase marker experiment. I've been seeing a lot on platforms like TikTok and Pinterest recently and thought it would be cool to give it a try for this week's at-home activity. It's really simple yet, entertaining for our students! All we need for this week's activity is: Dry Erase Markers, Water of any temperature, Glass or ceramic plate/bowl, Spoon or Popsicle stick. We're going to start off by having your children write letters, shapes, or words with the markers at the bottom of the plate/bowl. Which is great for practicing their writing skills with different utensils! Next, they will pour the water into the plate/bowl and use their spoon or popsicle stick to move their letters or shapes around to create different words or patterns. They can dump the water out, dry it out, and continue to explore their endless possibilities of dry-erase symbols!
